Eagle marine is a team of passionate marine engineers and naval architects dedicated to transforming the marine and offshore in middle east , recently they found us to design the mooring winch for barge ,they list the main details, we sent the preliminary quotation .In order to enhance mutual trust and discuss all the requirements on-site , we invite them to visit us .Half month later , we met in our office .
After one hour discussion ,they propose the following requirements.
1. the nominal capacity 100kn ,the brake holding capacity 300kn
2. size constraint the height of winch doesn’t exceed 1.2 meters.
3. It’s easy to be transferred from vessel to the shore.
After the calculation by our technical department ,Our technical department quickly comes up with a solution to withstand 300kn static load capacity, we strengthened brake band, main shaft , drum shell ,frame and foundation of the mooring winch . We chose the higher strength steel plate GB/T Q355B , so we can make it compact and keep the strength of the whole structure of mooring winch.
In order to facilitate the movement of winch from barge to the shore , we designed the forklift hole and quick connection of oil pipe , this will be much easier , the steel grid cover to protect the motor during the transportation . four lifting holes will be at same height to avoid the tilt during lifting operation .
The customer is very satisfy with the scheme ,because it’s initial order between us, the customer also did the strength analysis report for winch foundation and BV certificate .
Their engineer said the whole structure of mooring winch meets the requirements .
Three months later , the hydraulic mooring winch was completed , they came to verify all the test on site .They speak highly of the mooring winch , all the details is comply the drawing . We also showed the BV certificate .
We thank our customer’s trust and they also gave us some good suggestions to improve the mooring winch , we’ll be very appreciate about this .
